Men’s Health Fair Set June 21 At Hospital

FULTON, NY – A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital is hosting a Men’s Health Fair June 21, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Conference Room A and adjacent areas.

Free prostate screening (a simple blood test, no fasting required) as well as digital rectal exams will be offered by Oswego County Urology, P.C., the office of Urologist Dr. Felix Oben.

Prostate screening is recommended by the American Cancer Society for men ages 50 and above.

This health fair also features educational materials on a variety of men’s health topics.

Refreshments will be provided by two of the event sponsors.

Those who would like to make an appointment for either or both of these screenings may contact Amy or Ruth at Dr. Oben’s office, 592-7375, Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Walk-ins also are welcome.

“You do not need to be a current patient of Dr. Oben in order to participate,” stated a spokesperson for the event. “This is a great opportunity for men who have limited or no health insurance.”
