Minetto To hold Veterans Day Services In Park

MINETTO, NY – A community remembrance of veterans of all wars will be held at the Minetto Riverfront Park, Sunday (traditional Veterans Day) Nov. 11, at 12:30 p.m.

Organized by the Minetto Community United Methodist Church, the brief gathering will serve to recognize veterans of all the military services.

The Sounds of Brass community band will offer several selections of military and patriotic music.

The Rev. Grant Nicholls, of the Minetto Community United Methodist Church and Father Joseph Larkin of our Lady of Perpetual Help will offer words of remembrance and thanks.

All area residents and veterans are invited to participate in this important but brief gathering.

The Minetto Riverfront Park is located on State Route 48 immediately south of the Minetto Bridge.
