Motor Vehicle Crash in Granby Claims Life

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the driver who was involved in a fatal motor vehicle crash on County Route 3 in the town of Granby Wednesday night.

The driver has been identified as 27-year-old Nicholas Kellogg of Kellogg Road in Hannibal.

Kellogg was driving his 2001 Ford F-150 pick up truck westbound on County Route 3 when he failed to negotiate a curve.

Speed and alcohol are being investigated as contributing factors, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

GRANBY, NY – According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, one person is dead after a crash in Granby on Wednesday night.

A 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck was westbound on County Route 3, west of Hanley Road, when the truck went off the road, into a ditch and struck a utility pole support wire, an earthen embankment and several small trees while overturning, deputies said.

The crash happened at about 10:43 p.m.

The driver, the only person in the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not been identified.

The crash is still under investigation.
