FULTON, NY – Residents throughout Oswego County had the opportunity to learn about the wide range of women’s health services that are provided at OCO health centers by visiting a series of open house events at their Oswego and Fulton health centers as well as at their satellite sites in Mexico and Pulaski.

Jennifer Worden and Allen Wert of Oswego County Opportunities’ Health Services Division distribute information to visitors during an open house at OCO’s Oswego Health Center. OCO recently held open houses at its Oswego and Fulton health centers as well as satellite sites in Pulaski and Mexico. Visitors learned of the many healthcare services available through OCO and had the opportunity to receive free blood pressure checks and free Hemocue blood tests that screen for iron levels.Healthcare providers and staff from OCO’s Health Services Division greeted community members and informed them of the health services available at OCO’s health centers including a complete range of women’s health services as well as healthcare for the entire family including pediatrics, adult medicine and health education.

“It was a pleasure visiting with community members during our open houses and educating them about the women’s health services that are available to them locally at the OCO health center nearest them,” said Jennifer Worden, coordinator of Outreach, Education and Enrollment Services with OCO.  “I encourage those who were unable to attend to give us a call or visit the OCO Health Center nearest them and learn first hand how they can access quality healthcare from their local OCO Health Center.”
