Pennellville Couple Arrested on Felony Drug Charges

SYRACUSE, NY – On November 14 at approximately 4:55 a.m., members from New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, New York State Police Special Operation Response Team, and Oswego County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 14 Nottingham Runne, Pennellville.

Subsequently, CNET members recovered approximately 32 pounds of marihuana, metal knuckles, two long guns, triple beam scale, packaging and more than $4,200 in U.S. currency.

The two subjects were arrested for the following:

James E. Rogers, 55, from 14 Nottingham Runne Pennellville, a convicted felon, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 1st degree (C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree (D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree (A Misdemeanor).

Ann Marie Benway, 50, from 14 Nottingham Runne Pennellville, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 1st degree.

Both subjects were arraigned at the Town of Schroeppel Court before Judge Brandt.

Rogers was remanded to Oswego County Correctional facility in lieu of no bail.
