Fulton Police say they caught a burglar in the act of stealing liquor from a Fulton restaurant.
At about 2:32 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, police answered an alarm at the Tavern on the Lock restaurant on S. 1st St.
Officers found Mark S. Heald, 21, of Fulton inside a fenced area of the building.
Police allege Heald broke into a locked cabinet and took two bottles of liquor. They estimated damage to be less than $250.
Heald was charged with a felony count of burglary and a count of criminal mischief. Fulton City Court Judge Spencer Ludington sent Heald to the Oswego County jail on bail of $500 cash or $1000 bond.
