Police: Man Threatened To Set People On Fire

A Schroeppel man is in jail today, charged with threatening to set two people on fire.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department alleges that John A. Shively, 44, of 631 County Route 54, Bldg #H, Schroeppel got into a domestic dispute Monday. Police allege he threatened to end the argument by pouring gasoline on two people, setting them on fire and killing them.

He was charged with felony reckless endangerment.

Shively was sent to the Oswego County Correctional Facility on bail of $2,500 cash or $7,500 bond. missing or outdated ad config
