OSWEGO, NY – Do you know an 11 – 15 year old who is interested in becoming an American Red Cross trained babysitter?
The Onondaga-Oswego Chapter of the American Red Cross is announcing two upcoming Babysitter Training classes to be held at the Oswego Branch Office, 129 W. Second St.
The classes will be held on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Dec. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Each participant should bring a lunch to the class.
The Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Program gives young people the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of adults.
The training will help participants develop skills in leadership as well as teach basic care and safety, safe play and first aid.
Participants will receive a workbook to take home as well as a certificate showing that they have successfully completed the course.

Class size will be limited and is on a first come first serve basis.
