FULTON, NY – Rotarians in District 7150, Central New York, are seeking four outstanding young professional or businessmen or women to visit India in January and February 2008 as part of a Group Study Exchange of Rotary International.

The dates for the exchange are from Jan. 27 to Feb. 26, 2008.

The purpose of a Group Study Exchange is to promote international understanding and goodwill through person-to-person contact. The awards involve a four-week visit to the beautiful south western area of India, during which the team members share personal knowledge of their own country and experience the customs, vocations, and lifestyles of another.

While abroad, team members stay in Rotarian homes and have the opportunity to meet their professional counterparts. They also give presentations to Rotary clubs and other groups about their home country. The Rotary Foundation pays for the cost of transportation and accommodations. Only incidental expenses and gifts are the responsibility of the team members.
