OSWEGO, NY – Local runners and walkers can still sign up for the Oswego Health third annual charity walk/run sponsored by Oswego Health and the Oswego and Fulton YMCAs that will be held May 31 at The Heckethorn Health Community at Seneca Hill.
There will be a 1.5 miles course and a 3.1 (5K) mile course. Both routes are paved. In addition, there will be an unpaved nature trail walk.
There is a $15 entry fee for adults.
Registration forms are available at the Oswego or Fulton YMCA, The Manor and Springside, both located on the Seneca Hill campus, Oswego Hospital and several local businesses.
Those who take part in the walk/run can seek pledges, however, this is not required.
Event check in begins at 8:30 a.m. with a start time at 9:30 a.m. Both the check in site and start location is the upper parking lot of The Manor at Seneca Hill.
Funds raised through the event will benefit Oswego Health’s next building project, which is the expansion and updating of Oswego Hospital’s emergency department, as well as YMCA projects.
