State Police arrested a Syracuse man Friday after what they alleged was a road rage incident along Route 481 in Volney.

It happened at about 1:45 a.m. Friday.

Police allege Michael J. Braun, 24, of Rich St., Syracuse flashed his truck’s headlights at a vehicle ahead of him, cut the vehicle off, then made what they called “a threatening motion” towards the two men in the other vehicle as they tried to drive away.

Police claim Braun rammed the vehicle. The two men in the vehicle called 911.

State Police, with help from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, arrested Braun.  He’s charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and DWI.  He was sent to jail on bail of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
