Travel Back To The ’50s Party Set

FULTON – The Friends of History in Fulton, NY cordially invite you to join us on November 6 at Tavern on the Lock (downstairs) as we turn back the clock and land in the 1950s!

A cover charge will be collected at the door.

Where were you in the ’50s? Do you remember the beginning of Rock N’ Roll? Do you remember your first black and white TV? How about Elvis appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show?

No Pandora or Clouds – just good old 45s brought us the music of Frank Sinatra, Patti Page, and Dinah Shore. Were you the first to have a Hula Hoop?

Whether or not you remember those “good ole days” and want to live them again, or want to experience them for the first time this event is for you.

Wear your poodle skirt, roll up your sleeves and get your saddle shoes ready for dancing. Elvis will be on hand to entertain.

Sue Ryan, from Tavern on the Lock, has prepared a menu that will help transport you back in time. Our dinner will include: sliders, side-winder fries, mac and cheese, meatloaf, vegetables, salad, and a “make your own” sundae bar.

The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar and dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The fun continues as Elvis entertains with all of your favorites. So, grab your friends and join us for an evening of reminiscing.

Tickets are available by calling the Pratt House at 598-4616.
