The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and Pathfinder Bank hold the free event from noon to 2 p.m.

“This event has been happening for close to 10 years,” said Director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Greg Mills.

Located at the downtown gazebo on East First Street, the event has a different musical appearance, food caterer and theme each week.

For the opening week, the event featured music from The Cortini Brothers with special guest appearances from Andy and Rob from The Billionaires.

Food was provided by Mimi’s Drive Inn, offering your choice between a grilled chicken Caesar wrap with chicken, lettuce and tomato or summer salad each with chips and choice of drink: Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or water for $8.

“The first one this year was excellent. The weather was great. The music was excellent as well. Mimi’s sold out, they had 110 meals there and they had sold out,” Mills told Oswego County Today. “Not everyone who was there got a meal either; so I would say there was about 150 people. It’s a great setting, truly just a great event.”

To go with the week’s theme of gardening, Pathfinder Bank handed out small flowers to all in attendance and all guests were able to enter the drawing for a door prize.

Tunes in June will continue for the duration of the month on each Wednesday at the downtown gazebo.

The next event is scheduled for June 10 following the theme of Go Green and Get Lean with food provided by Upperlandings Bar and Grill and music featuring The Anthony Joseph Swingtet. missing or outdated ad config
