Granby Man Arrested for Pulaski Bank Robbery

OSWEGO COUNTY – On January 12, 2024, at 10:02 a.m. the Village of Pulaski Police Department, New York State Police and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported Bank Robbery at the Key Bank 4763 Salina Street in the village of Pulaski.

When patrols arrived, bank officials advised a male had entered the bank, given the teller a note demanding money and threatened that he had a weapon.  The male took the cash and left the bank in an unknown direction.

At 10:42 a.m., responding patrols located a subject that matched the description of the suspect walking at the intersection of State Route 11 and Maltby Road where he was taken into custody by Sheriff Deputies without incident.

State Police subsequently arrested 36-year-old James Brown II, from Granby, NY for Robbery 1st degree, a class “B” felony and Robbery 3rd degree, class “D” felony.

All of the money taken from the bank was recovered.
