FULTON – Yesterday, we bid farewell to Deputy Sheriff Campbell, who tragically lost her life in the line of duty. Her passing serves as a poignant reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face every day. We often encounter them while patrolling our communities, yet we may not fully appreciate the risks they undertake to keep us safe. It’s important to acknowledge their sacrifices and the impact on their families and colleagues. Let’s honor Deputy Cailee Campbell and all law enforcement officers for their dedication and bravery. We might see them on the side of the highway, and we will slow down to avoid a ticket. We see them on patrol in our cities, towns, and villages. Sometimes, we don’t notice them doing their job. Notice when they help people in need. And we forget what a dangerous job they have. Just stopping a vehicle on a highway, a quick mistake from a passerby, and the officer’s life is changed, as well as the family and friends around them.
Yesterday, Law Enforcement said goodbye to Deputy Sheriff Campbell. An accident that changed the life all around her, Her family, fellow Deputies, and friends.
End of watch Deputy Cailee Campbell.
