Seventh grade students from around the county spent time with their legislator for Government Day on May 9. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County offers the program in partnership with the Oswego County Legislature, to give students the chance to visit county facilities, learn about the operations of local government and participate in mock resolutions and a full Legislature meeting. The Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee presented a proclamation to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County recognizing Government Day. Pictured from left are legislators Paul House, District 8; Marie C.
