OSWEGO – Members of the Oswego County Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee gathered for the first time to discuss its update process. The Plan is a collaboration between the County and each municipality to outline goals and strategies for public investment in infrastructure, housing, economic development, environmental protection and overall quality of life. The County has retained the services of EDR, an engineering and environmental services company, to aid the committee in gathering and analyzing data to ensure thorough updates. The group will hold public meetings and conduct a survey to collect feedback from residents and municipal leaders. It will apply these findings to the Plan, which helps the County and community partners apply for grant funding for improvement and development projects.
