Micron Brings Hands-On Memory Learning Experience At The Great New York State Fair Wednesday

SYRACUSE, NY – Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU), one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies and the only U.S.-based manufacturer of memory, will bring a one-day-only educational, interactive space to the Great New York State Fair Wednesday where fairgoers can learn about memory and meet the Micron team.

The first 3,000 children to visit the Micron pavilion at the Exposition Center will receive a free STEM activity kit, which contains the components and instructions needed to build their own LED light circuit. Fairgoers also can participate in a “Memory Race” to see how fast they can install Micron memory modules into a motherboard; can pose for photos in Micron cleanroom suits and with the company’s robot dog; and can connect with Micron team members to learn about the company’s products, university programs, career pathways, and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion efforts.
