Missing Oswego County 6-Year-Old Found Safe

CLEVELAND, NY – On November 14, 2022, at 10:07 p.m., State Police was dispatched by the Oswego County 911 to a missing 6-year-old child complaint on Center Street in the village of Cleveland.

Family members reported their 6-year-old daughter, who is legally blind and hearing impaired, missing from the residence.

Following a two-hour search, the child was located by a motorist who noticed her walking along the shoulder of the roadway in the area of Kathrine Street and North Street which is over a mile from her house. She was evaluated at the scene by North Shore Ambulance and was determined to be in good health with no injuries.

The New York State Police was assisted at the scene by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Air1, North Shore Ambulance, Cleveland Fire Department, Constantia Fire Department, Oswego County Search and Rescue, and the Wilderness Search and Rescue Team.
