FULTON, NY National Grid has signed on as a Gold Level Sponsor for Oswego County Opportunities Glow for OCO Golf Tournament. Set for Friday evening, August 25, OCO’s Glow for OCO Golf Tournament gets underway at dusk with teams of four teeing off with special glow-in-the-dark golf balls as they take on the challenging course at the Tamarack Golf Club, 2021 County Route 1 in Scriba in an exciting Captain and Crew “Best Ball” tournament.

“National Grid proudly supports OCO and the wonderful community work they do each and every day. The Glow for OCO golf tournament is another opportunity for us to partner with OCO in the community we all work and live in. We’re pleased that our sponsorship can help make this event impactful to help respond to critical human needs in our community,” said National Grid Jurisdiction Manager Diane Benedetto.

In addition to golf there will be a number of games and contests that golfers can participate in. There will also be prizes, food and refreshments.

The Glow for OCO golf tournament serves as a fundraiser for the “OCO, Where Giving Grows” initiative which focuses on nurturing a healthy, equitable, inclusive community for individuals and families as they grow from poverty to self-sufficiency.
