Onondaga County Sheriff Detectives Arrest 27 Year Old Male For Child Pornography

SYRACUSE, NY – On March 17, 2023, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Detectives executed a Search Warrant at an apartment on N. Clinton Street in the City of Syracuse as a result of a child pornography investigation.

Detectives recovered computers, electronic storage devices and the cell phones of Tanner Witt, birth date 07/14/1995.

Witt was arrested for nine counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and nine counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child.

The search warrant and arrest are the result of a six-month investigation. The Detectives work are a part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Tanner Witt is currently in custody at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
