OSWEGO COUNTY – Oswego County Clerk Terry Wilbur announced today that all three local Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) offices are experiencing technical issues related to the Microsoft outage happening across the country.
The offices all run off New York State’s DMV network, which has been affected by the software update for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Wilbur said, “Oswego County’s three DMV offices – in Oswego, Fulton and Pulaski – will all remain open to the public during the outage. We cannot process registrations or other transactions until the computer issues are resolved; however, if people have questions or want us to review their paperwork to be sure everything is in order, we are still here and remain ready to serve.”
Local officials are working with the state to address the issue and will update the public once it is resolved.
