For the third straight year, Oswego County Federal Credit Union, (OCFCU), is the major sponsor of the ‘TGIF Concert Series’ presented by the Fulton Music Association, (FMA), and Fulton Parks and Recreation, with support from Fulton Savings Bank and Brookfield Renewable U.S., it was announced by Steve Chirello, FMA president. Kickin’ Up Dust, (above) returns to kick off the series on June 19. “Very popular with the crowd last year, they perform country, classic rock, blues and oldies,” Chirello said.
FULTON, NY – For the third straight year, Oswego County Federal Credit Union, (OCFCU), is the major sponsor of the ‘TGIF Concert Series’ presented by the Fulton Music Association, (FMA), and Fulton Parks and Recreation, with support from Fulton Savings Bank and Brookfield Renewable U.S., it was announced by Steve Chirello, FMA president.
“We are thrilled to bring back this free Friday night concert series to the 56 S. First St. Gazebo in downtown Fulton,” Chirello said. “Thanks to the support from OCFCU, we’re able to feature an eclectic mix of jazz country blues, classic rock, dance covers, and some traditional favorites. I also want to personally thank Fulton Savings Bank and Brookfield Renewable U.S. for their outstanding financial support, as well as the Fulton Parks and Recreation Dept. for their assistance. All concerts are free and start at 6:30 p.m.
“We’ll kick things off June 19 with the return of Kickin ’Up Dust, who perform country, classic rock, blues and oldies. New this year is the One-Way Ticket band, set for June 26. They are a highly active classic rock and party cover band performing frequently in and around the Central New York and Fulton/Syracuse regions. Their energetic set lists feature a mix of classic rock, blues, and dance hits.
“Triple Threat, a Boogie-woogie country blues band, will appear on July 10 featuring Steve Watson, Joe Conzone, Matt Zych and John Zych on keyboard.
Also new this year is the Stone River Band’s SRB Trio, which plays classic rock, oldies and country music. Joe Cortini and The Jazz Mafia are back on July 31, and Swingtide, a six-piece band featuring jazz standards, blues and pop returns this year and winds up the series on Aug. 14.”
