OSWEGO COUNTY – Wednesday, September 25th, at around 6:42 AM, there was a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at the intersection of County Route 176 and Rowlee Road. The accident involved an on-duty deputy who was responding to another motor vehicle accident. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy, identified as Cailee Campbell, was transported to Oswego Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The other driver was transported to Upstate Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputy Campbell was 33 years old and was a dedicated member of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office since April of 2023.
This incident is still under investigation and more updates will be provided.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy was transported to Oswego Hospital, where the deputy was pronounced dead. The other driver was transported to Upstate Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This incident is actively under investigation and an update will be provided later tonight or tomorrow morning.
