Altmar Man Charged After Two-County Chase

OSWEGO, NY – On Nov. 28 at 2:12 a.m., Joshua O. Kranz, 27, of 386 Bull Run Road, Altmar, was arrested following a multi-county pursuit.

The chase began after an incident on US Route 11 in the town of Richland when the vehicle Kranz was operating nearly struck a Pulaski Village Police Officer.

It ended on State Route 69 in the town of Camden, Oneida County.

This after he allegedly intentionally struck an Oswego County Sheriff’s Department vehicle.

Kranz was charged with DWI; Aggravated DWI; Fleeing Officer in MV, third degree; AUO, first degree (alcohol), a class E felony; Drinking Alcohol in MV on Highway; Failure to Obey Police Officer; Reckless Driving; five counts of Failure to Stop at STOP Sign; six counts of No Headlights; two counts of Crossing Road Hazard Markings; five counts of Failure to Signal; Speed in Zone and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Inspection Certificate.

Kranz was arraigned in the Town of Richland Court by Hon. Judge Ridgeway and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
