Amy Tresidder
OSWEGO – Terry Hammill recently stepped down from his position as board chair of the Port of Oswego Authority’s board of directors.

However, he will remain on the board.
Vice Chair Amy Tresidder was named acting chair of the board.
At the port’s annual meeting in March, Tresidder was formally elected as chair of the board.
In addition, Ken Stevens was elected vice chair and Gerald Brown was elected secretary/treasurer.
The board also includes John Smith and Thomas Schneider, plus three vacancies.
One of the board’s first priorities will be to fill the three vacant positions.
Those living in the city of Oswego who would like to be considered for a seat on the board are asked to direct their inquiries to the County’s Democratic Committee.
The committee’s nominations will be forward to Governor Cuomo’s office for approval and appointment.
