It’s Kristin Davis, the “Manhattan Madam” whose hookers were the downfall of then-Gov. Eliot Spitzer.  She served four months in prison for promoting prostitution.

Davis will speak at 7:30 p.m. in room 467 of Mahar Hall on the SUNY Oswego campus tonight, as a guest of the Political Science Club.

She’s the candidate of the Anti-Prohibition Party and runs on a simple platform:  Legalize marijuana, prostitution, gay marriage and gambling.

Laugh if you like, and many have.  But Davis, like many third party candidates, has talked about serious issues.

She has said that she discovered, after her release from Riker’s Island, that she was a Libertarian who believes in very limited government intervention in peoples’ lives.

Davis has run an active campaign and recently appeared in the seven-way debate among the candidates for Governor. missing or outdated ad config
