Arrests Announced In Home Invasion Incident

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has released more information on the home invasion that occurred on County Route 23 in the Town of Constantia on August 9.

Sheriff’s Investigators now say that they have arrested two people and charged them for their involvement in the incident.

Jonathan Onn, 22 years old, of 7040 Bruce Road, Canastota, has been charged with Robbery 1st degree, Burglary 1st degree, and Criminal Trespass 1st degree.ia, arrests, home invasion, sheriff

David Martinez, 25 years old, of 7585 Fulton Ave., Rochester, was also charged with Robbery 1st degree, Burglary 1st Degree, and Criminal Trespass 1st Degree.

Both men were arraigned in the Scriba Town Court.

Onn was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Martinez was remanded in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.

Both men were located in Canastota where they were taken into custody.

Investigators say that information provided to them by the public was crucial in identifying and locating the suspects.

Deputies are still investigating the relationship between Onn and Martinez and the occupants of the Waterwheel Apartments.

Investigators have recovered property that they believe is related to the incident.

The investigation is continuing and further charges are possible.
