OSWEGO, NY – Residents of Bishop’s Commons and staff children are beginning fundraising efforts to assist families in need through the Salvation Army this holiday season.

Bishop’s Commons And Staff Children Help Families This Holiday SeasonWith the help of local businesses, and many family and friends of Bishop’s Commons, the special event will take place the day before Thanksgiving and will include raffles, door prizes, and a bake sale.

“The day before Thanksgiving is when many families and friends are visiting our residence,” noted Senior Living Coordinator, Julie Chetney. “Now our visitors can take home some wonderful desserts for the holiday.”

The sale will begin on Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. and will go while supplies last.

There will also be door prizes, raffles, and complementary refreshments.

Your House, Your Home has donated a gift basket and C&B Farms has donated a Christmas tree.

The public is invited to stop by in support of this holiday project.
