City Hall Flagpole Repairs Completed

OSWEGO – There was a little activity high above the City of Oswego this morning as crews worked on the flagpole atop the historic City Hall clock tower. Mayor Robert A. Corradino is pleased to announce that the necessary repairs to the flagpole have been successfully completed. The work helps ensure the continued maintenance of this important feature of City Hall and a familiar part of Oswego’s downtown skyline.

“We are pleased to have this work completed and to ensure that the flagpole atop City Hall continues to be properly maintained,” said Mayor Robert A. Corradino. “I want to thank the crews who safely completed the repairs this morning and everyone who helped make sure the work was done efficiently and carefully.”

The City would also like to thank the many residents who noticed the activity at the top of City Hall and took the time to reach out with questions, care and concern about the flagpole. “We truly appreciate how much our residents care about City Hall and the details that make our community special,” Mayor Corradino said. “The calls and messages we received are a wonderful reminder of the pride Oswego residents have in their city. We appreciate everyone who took the time to check in and make sure everything was okay.”

The repairs were completed this morning, and the flagpole is once again ready to proudly serve its place atop Oswego City Hall.
