OSWEGO – The City of Oswego is pleased to announce the members of the 2026–2027 Oswego Common Council, which includes six newly elected councilors and one returning member who will continue to serve the community.
Returning to the Common Council for another term is Timothy Plunkett, who represents the Sixth Ward. Councilor Plunkett brings valuable experience and continuity to the council as it begins the new term.
The City also welcomes six new councilors who will each represent their respective wards:
• Chance A. Kennedy, First Ward
• Jonathan C. Ashline, Second Ward
• Laurel Lautensack, Third Ward
• John FitzGibbons, Fourth Ward
• Bill Myer, Fifth Ward
• Shane Thompson, Seventh Ward
Together, the 2026–2027 Common Council will work collaboratively with Mayor Corradino and city departments to address the needs of Oswego residents, advance community priorities, and guide the city’s legislative and policy initiatives.
