City of Oswego’s 2025 Summer Hydrant Flushing Program

OSWEGO –  Please be advised that the City of Oswego Water Treatment Plant has begun its annual hydrant flushing program. 

The Summer 2025 flushing plan will be focusing on the West side of the city. If you experience dirty/cloudy water, it is recommended that you run your cold-water tap (preferably your bathtub) for a few minutes until it clears. 

This project has already begun and will continue to run until September. 

The city will provide intermittent reminders throughout the summer season on the City of Oswego Facebook page.
