College Student Charged With Unlawful Surveillance

OSWEGO – University Police at SUNY Oswego arrested student Gregory Berrios, 18, of New York City, on April 22 on charges of second-degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony.

He is accused of allegedly using a smartphone to record a student taking a shower in Cayuga Hall without that person’s knowledge on April 8.

Berrios was arraigned in front of Judge James M. Metcalf in Oswego City Court on April 22 and released on his own recognizance.

He is to appear in Oswego Town Court in front of Judge Michael Sterio on May 2.
