OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature set two public hearings at Thursday’s regular monthly meeting.
The first is in regards to proposed Local Law No. 5 of 2016.
The local law would provide for salary adjustments for certain Oswego County officers – clerk, sheriff and treasurer.
Members of the public will have a chance to speak on the proposal on Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. in the Legislature Chambers, fourth floor of the Oswego County Building, 46 E. Bridge St.
The law would provide for raises for the trio in 2017 through 2020.
• For the County Clerk it would be: $79,264, $81,642, $84,091 and $86,613.
• For the County Sheriff it would be: $87,917, $90,555, $93,272 and $96,070.
• For the County Treasurer it would be: $79,264, $81,642, $84,091 and $86,613.
The legislature also scheduled a public hearing on the proposed 2017 county spending plan.
The public hearing will be held Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Legislature Chambers, fourth floor of the Oswego County Building, 46 E. Bridge St.
