Crash in Oswego County Involving a State Police Vehicle

PULASKI, NY – State Police in Pulaski are investigating a crash that occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. today (Feb. 18), on County Route 41 in the town of Richland.

The investigation has revealed State Police Investigator Charlotte Yerdon, operating a State Police owned 2006 Ford Taurus, 4-door sedan, was southbound on County Route 41 south of Atkinson Road when a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Jennifer D. Weeks, 38, from Mexico, was northbound on County Route 41 following a town of Richland snowplow.

State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.

Both vehicles impacted head-on in the southbound lane.

Investigator Yerdon, a seven-year veteran of the State Police and assigned to the Pulaski Barracks was transported to Pulaski Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Weeks and her passenger, Tiffany Cummins, 16, were not injured in the crash.

The investigation is continuing.
