OSWEGO – A deputy with the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office was injured in a one-vehicle MVA on Sunday.
At 8:32 a.m., Mark Walton, 33, was operating a 2015 Ford north on I81 in the town of Richland, 50 feet north of mile marker 116.6, emergency status, toward a MVA when he reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to collide with a guardrail.
Deputy Walton was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital.
Contributing factors were slippery roads and it was snowing at the time of the MVA.
No other details were available.
