OSWEGO – DuFore’s Jewelers has donated a diamond ring valued at $4,995 for its annual raffle benefiting United Way of Greater Oswego County’s 2026 campaign, according to a release from United Way.

The raffle supports United Way’s Community Fund and member agencies’ work to fight hunger, support children and youth, and promote wellness.

The first-place prize is a women’s 14-karat white gold pear-shaped cluster ring with 1.50 carats total weight of natural diamonds. It is on display at DuFore’s Jewelers, 94 W. Second St. in Oswego. The second-place prize is a $200 gift card to DuFore’s.

“DuFore’s has been a valuable partner of United Way and our local community for years. We continue to be honored each year by the generosity of DuFore’s Jewelers in donating this ring to raise funds for United Way and our local community partners and their programs,” said Patrick Dewine, executive director of United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Tickets are $1 each, six for $5 or 15 for $10. Sales continue until the drawing at noon Dec. 24, 2026, at DuFore’s Jewelers. The drawing will be broadcast live on United Way’s Facebook page.

All ticket proceeds support United Way’s work to meet critical human needs in Oswego County.

“The unwavering support we receive from local businesses, like Dufore’s, is incredible. It takes an entire community working together to create positive change, and we are fortunate to have that level of dedication here in Oswego County,” Dewine said.

Tickets are available at DuFore’s Jewelers; online through United Way of Greater Oswego County’s website; at the United Way office, 1 S. First St. in Fulton, on the lower level of Community Bank; and from United Way staff and board members.
