OSWEGO, NY – At approximately noon on May 9, investigators with the Oswego City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation into illegal activity at 42 E. Oneida St., the residence of 59-year-old William P. Dawnstar.
During the course of the investigation, the residence was searched resulting in the discovery of approximately four pounds of marijuana.
On May 12, Dawnstar was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class D felony.
He was subsequently arraigned and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond.
Dawnstar is currently scheduled to return to Oswego City Court on June 7 at 9:30 a.m.
