Fire Damages Oswego Town Home

OSWEGO TOWN, NY – A homeowner reportedly suffered burns following a fire earlier today (Jan. 10) in Oswego Town.

Fire was reported at the home, located at the corner of Johnson Road (County Route 7) and the Gardenier Road, around 1 p.m.

Heavy smoke was coming from the house when firefighters arrived.

The injured person was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse, where he is reportedly in ‘serious’ condition.

Firefighters from Oswego Town, Oswego City,  Minetto and Hannibal responded.

Fair Haven FD provided one engine to stand by at Oswego Town’s fire  station during the fire.

They were being assisted by members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department and State Police.

Traffic is restricted near the fire scene.
