The home is "a total loss."
OSWEGO, NY – Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that
destroyed a Tallman Street home in Oswego earlier this morning (April 28).

Oswego Fire Department crews were dispatched at 1:50 a.m. to a structure fire at 80 Tallman St.
They arrived to “a well-involved two-story residence.”
With good information from the homeowner that nobody was inside, firefighters employed hoselines from the exterior in a defensive posture,
protecting the nearby neighboring homes while knocking down the flames.
The residence is a total loss, fire officials said.

A neighboring home sustained radiant heat damage and melted siding.
No injuries were reported.
Around 5 a.m., OFD crews were still on the scene cleaning up.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
