VOLNEY – On Sunday (July 17), at approximately 12:27 p.m., State Police stopped an unregistered vehicle on State Route 481 in the town of Volney.

Investigation at the scene revealed the vehicle allegedly contained heroin, cocaine, hypodermic needles, open containers, and alprazolam and clonazepam pills.
The following five individuals were arrested and charged:
Daniel Carbacio, 57, from 408 John St., Syracuse, NY

(3) counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, (1) count Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors, and several vehicle and traffic law violations
Kellierin E. Dattler, 33, from 5194 Kasson Road., Syracuse, NY
– (5) counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, (1) count Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors

Ashley N. Schultz, 32, from 109 Leonard Drive, Syracuse, NY
– (3) counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, (1) count Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors
Tiffany M. Williams, 36, from 1406 Butternut St., Syracuse, NY

– (3) counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, (1) count Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors
Stephanie L. Brantley, 37, from 1150 N. Glencove Road, Syracuse, NY
– (3) counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, (1) count Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors
All five suspects were arraigned in the Town of Volney Court.
They are scheduled to return to court on August 22, at 6:00 p.m.
