Gallery: Girl Scouts Sing For Seniors At The Holidays

Sonia Robinson sent us these pictures of Girl Scout Troop #41.

She writes:  “These young women are Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts. This is one of several community service project they are doing for the holidays. They played at the Ladies Home on Dec. 5th and will soon be appearing at Loretto Heights and Canal Commons. These Young women are also working on their Girl Scout Gold Award, the Highest Award a Girl Scout can achieve. It is equivalent to the [Boy Scouts’] Eagle Scout Award. In addition to creating a Holiday band to share the meaning of Christmas, these Girl Scouts have also recently volunteered at the Oswego Elks during their Veterans Day Ceremony and will be assisting Santa at Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 20 at the Oswego Elks.”

Sonia also wants you to know that Girl Scout cookies will be available starting in January.

What’s your youth group, team or club up to?  Take some pictures and share them with us. We’ll share them with everyone else.  And thanks, Sonia!
