OSWEGO – On 1/1/18 at 6:52 p.m., Richard L. Calkins Sr., 30, of 615 Sixty-Six Road, Hannibal, was arrested for first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred on Dec. 27, 2017 at a town of Hannibal residence.
He allegedly had sexual contact with the victim being less than 11 years of age.
Calkins was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
He is to return to court on Jan. 23.
