Harborfest Advises Potential Vendors To Apply Now As Space Is Filling Up

OSWEGO – Vendors interested in working at the 2023 edition of Harborfest are advised to apply quickly as space is rapidly filling for food and beverage, arts and crafts, commercial and farmer’s market vending.

Traditionally, most vendors return each year, creating few openings for new vendors. However, the vendor community was badly affected by the pandemic. While that has created a few more open spaces, the festival’s chief executive urged anyone wanting those spaces to act quickly.

“As Harborfest 2023 gets closer, spaces are beginning to fill up fast. The disruption in the vending community offers an opportunity to new vendors to take advantage of a big audience and allows us to offer more variety in our offerings across the board,” Harborfest Executive Director Dan Harrington said.

Vendor information and applications can be found at oswegoharborfest.com/applications/.

Harborfest returns Thursday, July 27 – Sunday, July 30 with top national and regional acts on its stages, the annual Children’s Parade and performers for young people on a special stage in Breitbeck Park, great food, crafts and carnival rides and, of course, Central New York’s biggest and best fireworks show, synched to music. The entire festival is free to attend.

National touring performers are being lined up now for Friday night’s traditional show at the stage in Breitbeck Park. A diverse slate of nearly 30 regional artists and bands will perform on stages at Breitbeck, East Park and River Walk West. The Children’s Area returns to Breitbeck with crafts, activities and performances. The Dreamland Amusements Midway will set up again in front of the Coast Guard station on Lake Street.

Detailed information about Harborfest can be found on its website and Facebook page.
