Holiday Expo Slated In Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County puts on its holiday best at the 2007 Oswego Holiday Expo on Nov. 18 at the Oswego YMCA Armory, West First Street.

The hours will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the event is free.

There will be plenty of free parking available.

“It’s an opportunity for people to see the wonderful things available to them right here in Oswego County that can make their holidays more enjoyable,” said Louella LeClair, coordinator of the annual event.

Santa will be at holiday expoFirst and foremost, it’s a chance for kids to enjoy the wonder of Christmas.

Santa will be on hand all day to hear the youngsters’ holiday wishes.

There will be many prime picture-taking opportunities for families.

We will also offer to take your pictures for a nominal fee.

All the pictures with Santa will be available on the web at Fulton/Oswego Daily News, LeClair said.

Children can also enjoy bouncing in Santa’s House, an inflatable bouncing ride from Bounce’N’Around Inflatables, for 50 cents a bounce; you get one free bounce with your visit with Santa.

While they play, parents can browse the offerings of several dozen local businesses.

Novelis will also be collecting cans for Habitat for Humanity.

Operation Good Things will be collecting toys and personal items for those who are hospitalized during the Holiday season.

This a great family event.
