Kevin Hill Appointed Oswego City Assessor During Last Nights Common Council Meeting

OSWEGO – October 24, 2023, Last night’s Oswego Common Council meeting was marked by its brevity and the lack of public participation.

The primary focus of the meeting was the public hearing for Local Law No. 3, which proposed amendments to Chapter 133 of the City Code, concerning Flooding Damage Prevention. Chapter 133’s overarching purpose is to bolster public health, safety, and general welfare, reducing public and private losses incurred due to flood conditions.

Furthermore, all the resolutions on the council’s agenda passed without any discussion among council members.

Resolution No – 325 Approve Local Law No. 3 of the Year 2023 – A Local Law Amending Chapter 133, Flood Damage Prevention, of the Code of the City of Oswego, New York

Resolution No – 326 Authorize Mayor to Sign Agreement with Energy Systems Group, LLC in Order to Complete an Investment Grade Audit
