Laborers Local 633 Donates More Than $1,500 to Oswego City Animal Shelter

OSWEGO — Laborers Local 633 has donated more than $1,500 to the Oswego City Animal Shelter from proceeds of its annual golf tournament, according to a November 4 release from Mayor Robert A. Corradino.

The tournament was held July 11 at Stonecreek Golf Course. This is the third consecutive year that tournament proceeds have been donated to the shelter to support the care and well-being of animals in need, the city said.

The city thanked Laborers Local 633, tournament participants, sponsors and everyone who helped make the donation possible. It said community support helps the shelter continue caring for animals and finding them homes.

The release also recognized the union’s continued commitment to giving back to the community and supporting animals that depend on the shelter’s care.
