Town of Onondaga, NY – Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh reports that a Level 1 sex offender was arrested by detectives this morning (May 2) for Sex Abuse.
William Howley, 51, of Central Square was arrested at 10:14 this morning by Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division Abuse Persons Unit Detectives.
Howley is accused of having sexual contact with three children under the age of 11 in the Town of Onondaga in 2006.
Detectives also believe that there might be other victims that have yet to notify the sheriff’s office.
Howley was arrested for three counts of Sex Abuse 1st (class D felonies), and the class E felonies of Failure to Register a Facebook Account and Failure to Register a Change of Address.
Howley is currently in the Justice Center on $45,000 cash/bond.
The Abused Persons Unit is asking any other unreported victim’s of Howley to notify them at 315-435-3092.
