OSWEGO, NY – National Grid crews are on the scene of a downed, sparking power line in the city of Oswego right now.
The live wire fell across Route 481 between Hubbard and Albany streets shortly after 3:10 p.m.
The cause is under investigation; there was no motor vehicle accident.
City police have blocked off the roadway from South Street (across from Bishops Commons) to the north side of West Albany Street.
It is estimated that crews will have the line repaired in about an hour.
