OSWEGO, NY – Oswego native Amy Quonce recently announced the publication of her new book Sometimes The Wind Blows Sideways: Our Lives with a Special Need Child.
This compilation of stories from people all over Upstate New York shares the trials and tribulations of raising a child with a disability.
Working as a Teaching Assistant in Special Education and the mother of her own unique child, Amy’s vision was to raise awareness on what is truly takes to raise such a child, and to create a sense of community among the families who are faced with adversity.

The book will be available at the River’s End Bookstore in Oswego by December.

On Dec. 3, autographed copies of the book will be available at the Mexico Presbyterian Church holiday craft show from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and at St. Joseph’s holiday craft show in Oswego from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
